Saudi Ambassador Pays Special Visit to Iran Mine House in Yazd; New Horizons for Mining Investment Between Iran and Saudi Arabia Opened

 

Yesterday, Abdullah bin Al-Anzi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Iran, accompanied by a high-level delegation of embassy officials, was a special guest of the Iran Mine House in Yazd Province.

During this visit, the Saudi delegation toured several of Yazd’s mining and industrial capacities and held discussions with Iranian economic stakeholders and senior managers of mining industries. The talks focused on exploring opportunities for bilateral cooperation, identifying joint investment prospects, and exchanging technical knowledge in the fields of mineral exploration, extraction, and processing.

In the meeting, the Saudi Ambassador, referring to Iran’s vast mineral potential and Yazd’s position as one of the country’s major mining hubs, expressed hope that this visit would mark the beginning of a new chapter in economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
